ENDOW A PROGRAM OR SCHOLARSHIP
Endowments and Named Funds may be established and named in accordance with a donor’s wishes through gifts of $25,000 or more. These endowments typically fund a leadership program, scholarship, fellowships, Chapter Endowment Fund, or other educational initiatives. Endowments provide a constant source of income for programs and are governed by the Foundation’s Spending Policy and the donor’s intentions. Endowments may be funded by a donor (or group of donors) over several years with cash gifts, donating appreciated stock, monthly credit card donations, distributions from a Donor Advised Fund, grants from a Family Foundation, and/or as part of a planned/estate gift.
Choosing to endow and name a Triangle leadership program, scholarship, or another initiative is a terrific way to permanently establish and recognize your legacy in Triangle. There are currently more than 32 endowments within the Triangle Education Foundation and the growth of Triangle Fraternity is driving the need for more endowments.
